Apex Water Polo
Apex Water Polo is a Temecula based non-profit club that was founded in 2019 to develop the water polo skills of young athletes.
Water Polo is an exciting, fast-paced game that incorporates athletic elements from soccer, basketball, football, rugby, wrestling, and of course, swimming. Participants will learn basic skills and strategies of Water Polo including positions, ball control, game plays, passing, set-up, and shooting.
Co-Ed 18u & 16u
For adults, we offer boys and girls 16u &18u competitive water polo teams. The team practices up to three times per week and plays scrimmages and enters tournaments against other high-level teams.
Co-Ed Pre-High School
For youth water polo, we offer coed instructional classes for swimmers of all experience levels. Players will be introduced to game strategy, swim techniques and water polo skills like throwing and shooting goals with one hand while treading water.
Our goal is to develop the athlete’s skill level while simultaneously fostering team play and to have fun. Our coaches are all seasoned athletes with collegian experience and knowledge who serve as role models for our younger boys and girls in the program. We focus on training and developing athletes that perform to the best of their ability.
Practice Schedule
Apex Water Polo holds practice at the Chaparral High School pool. Times and dates will vary depending on the session time frame.

USA Water Polo membership
All participants that wish to participate in tournaments must have a current USA Water Polo membership. USA Water Polo memberships are on a calender basis expiring on December 31st of the current year. Silver membership is sufficient to compete in our local tournaments, but Gold membership is necessary to participate in the Junior Olympics.
During the USA Water Polo registration process you need to affilate your player with Apex Water Polo, club number 19616.
